This native perennial has wide, composite flower heads that are very attractive to pollinators. It's creamy, white flowers bloom throughout the summer. Succeeds in sandy to clay soils, but prefers situations where the soil retains moisture and doesn't dry out. A great choice for rain gardens and wet areas. A cousin of the Joe-pye weed.
