A tough plant that will grow on sunny sites with dry, poor soil conditions. One of the shortest goldenrods with a mature height of 2 feet. Blooms in the fall for approximately a month. Long, narrow blooms with the typical, cheery yellow of the solidago species. Fuzzy white texuture on leaves and stem lead some to call this "grey goldenrod"
