Vibrant, yellow flowers sway on spindly stalks high above the basal foliage. A mid-season bloomer that is present for months in the heat of our Ontario summers. Flower petals have a unique downward droop with central cones starting grey and turning to chocolate brown. Attracts many beneficial insects, bees, and butterflies. An ideal species for a prairie landscape. Tolerates drought and clay soils.
