A compact native shrub that has scores of bright yellow flowers in early summer. Foliage is blueish-green with small, pinnate leaves. A very tough plant with a high level of drought tolerance once established. Tolerates poor soil and salt. Deer and rabbit resistant. Can be used for an informal hedge.
