A cousin to the cardinal flower (Lobelia cardinalis), this species boasts of desirable, blueish-purple blooms. The long-lasting flowers are displayed on robust, vertical stalks. Attractive to pollinators. Desires soil with constant moisture and has a liking for partial shade.
