A stately tree with thick branches and rounded, unique growth habit. Ideal for urban areas due it's high tolerance of air pollution, drought resistance and adaptability to poor soil. Large compound leaves are blue-green during the growing season. Turns a pleasant mixture of soft golds and yellows in the fall. Late to leaf out in the spring and early to drop leaves in the fall. Female trees produce long, brown seed pods. Intolerant of shade.
