Product Details

A medium to large tree with rounded crown. Supports many species of butterflies and moths. Produces edible fruit that is also enjoyed by many local birds. Has a stunning fall color with yellows and striking reds. Thrives in full sun with moist, fertile loam soil. Mature bark has unique flaky texture. Prized for its excellent hardwood for woodworking.

Light : Full sun to part shade Water : Dry to moist

Soil : Sand, loam Zone : 3-7

Growth Rate : Slow to medium
