Eupatorium perfoliatum

A native Ontario perennial that attracts various pollinators with its wide, composite flowers. Does well in sandy to clay soils but needs constant moisture. A great choice for rain gardens and wet areas.

Spread : 3-4 feet (90-120 cm)

Blooming Period : July to September

Light : Full to part shade

Water : Medium to wet

Soil : Sand, loam, clay

Zone : 3-8

Native Ontario Habitat : Thickets, stream banks, meadows, and woodlands

Landscape Uses : Butterfly gardens, pollinator gardens, rain garden and naturalized areas
