Thanks to our friends at the Grow Me Instead initiative we have access to a detailed guide of plant suggestions and alternatives to commonly used invasive species in gardening. The guide outlines the negative impacts of specific invasive plant species and provides a suggestion of a native plant species that has similar characteristics. The guide has been recently updated and is a great resource for gardeners in Ontario.
